Jargon is useful if you understand it, and photography has its fair share. In this podcast I give a quick definition of the following terms:

  1. Prime lens
  2. Zoom lens
  3. Standard lens
  4. Fast lens
  5. Depth of field
  6. Dynamic range
  7. Noise
  8. Back button focus

Hopefully a penny or two will drop for you!

It's time for another podcast...

I will be running a 1-hour mini-workshop, an Introduction to Wildlife Photography, on the 26th March (recording available if you can't make the live event), and a short, 6-week course to help you with composition, "Seeing Differently", starting on the 13th April.
