Wildlife and Adventure Photography
A series to help you get great photographs (including wildlife) when travelling. The series includes volunteering and why it provides a serious alternative to traditional wildlife photography trips. It looks at some of the techniques photographers use to find subjects and get great results.
I also share some of my more unusual trips including visiting the wreck of the RMS Titanic and climbing mount Kilimanjaro.
This podcast is for those with an interest in photography, wildlife, conservation and adventure.

Where to find inspiration
I often talk about finding inspiration for your photography, but where can you find it?
There are several ways I find inspiration. One is through social media such as Instagram (where I post every day). You can do a # search for a particular subject (e.g. #wildlife) and click on images you like. This will give you the photographers page, who you might choose to follow, and you can see which # they are using for their posts.
Another source is to join group photography sessions, be it a photo walk or a seminar or webinar.
Even simpler, rotate your camera 90 degrees and change your angle!
And don't forget post-processing. Always start with the end in mind and remember that post-processing is an important aspect of creative photography.
